POH Members enjoy Mexican night!

Our April POH support meeting was another amazing evening for the group. We had a Mexican fiesta theme with some great guests. Dr Zampella spoke briefly with the group and answered some of the group’s questions before dinner. Dinner consisted of chicken and beef tacos with Mexican rice , salad and 4 varieties of empanadas and our usual array of desserts all made and served by ANS employees. Our guests were also welcomed into the evening by music performed by Pat Payton’s (ANS employee) son and grand children. Our specials guests this month were Kristina Woodward a certified Tia Chi instructor who educated us on the theory and beliefs behind this ancient sport and relaxation technique. She demonstrated some forms to us and provided information where we may take beginners courses.

Vocalist Maria Wood

The evening then ended with Tom Wood’s daughter MARIA singing a few songs bringing a few of us to tears with her beautiful voice and talent. We had our usual door prizes handed out along with the complimentary massages by Jennifer. Tom and his wife Melanie even danced a bit for us. It was again a great night where we came together to support each other and let the group know they are not alone in this. ANS also announced the speakingof hope website was updated to a blog site only where you can comment on the posts as well as the grand opening of the Madison Spa at 310 located right here within our office.
